About Us
How it all began...
In early 2023, my husband came home from work one day and said his friend was selling one of his 3D printers. We'd always fancied a go and to my surprise he bought it for me on the premise that I would be the one to design anything we needed as he hadn't the patience for designing (although he has the skill).

Little did I realize how tricky CAD software was to master. Even so I stuck at it and learned the basics and absolutely fell in love with the designing aspect of 3D printing. It suits my creative side combined with my knowledge of computers.

I've always been a very keen craftswoman, who has been a self employed (and self taught) automotive upholsterer for the last 6 years alongside my various other endeavors including my sister website www.craftylikeme.co.uk where I sell many beads and other craft items.
I also love to make jewellery using a technique called wire weaving and attends many craft shows in the run up to Christmas selling my wares. It was natural that I'd also enjoy polymer clay and that was the next obsession to fall into!

After several frustrating months of learning how to use the 3D printer I successfully printed my first few cutters. I quickly realized that my second hand printer was just not going to cut the mustard so I invested in a better machine.

Thus "Sunshine Cutters" was born and I have been successfully selling my cutters and STL files (the digital pattern for other 3D printing enthusiasts) on my Etsy shop since March 2023 which boast a 5* review rating for quality and customer service which I strive to maintain.

I thoroughly enjoy creating new designs and hope that you'll find something that sparks your imagination on my website. I design new collections all the time so i'm sure you'll find something you like.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. i'd also love to see what you've made so please don't forget to tag me @sunshincutters when you post your pictures on social media.

Happy Crafting!
